Pendant que le Rickmers Dalian traverse le Golfe de Mexique vers Houston nous avons trouvé un changement de son itineraire sur le site de Rickmers. Le Dalian va arrêter à Montoir en France avant Anvers. Nous allons donc probablement débarquer à Montroir (pas loin de Nantes en Bretagne) et partir vers l'Italie de là.
While the Rickmers Dalian is crossing the Gulf of Mexico towards Houston we noticed a change in her itinerary on the Rickmers site. The Dalian is now going to call at Montoir in France before proceeding to Antwerp. So we will probable get off there (Montoir is not far from Nantes in Britanny) and head to Italy from Nantes.

Rickmers Dalian a traversé le canal de Panama!

After waiting two days at the Pacific entrance to the Panama Canal our ship had its turn to cross to the Caribbean Ocean. We were lucky enough to see it on the canal's webcam as it entered the Gatun locks.

Comme on a dit... faut être patient.
Le date de départ de Philadelphie du
Rickmers Dalian est maintenant prévue pour le 12 mai... il va falloir faire des
ajustements de horaire en Europe, nous avons 10 jours de moins disponible.
C'est possible que nous allons
prendre l'avion de Bruxelles à Pise plutôt que le train, pour sauver du temps.
Ryanair offre les tarifs vraiment bon marché.

The departure date for the Rickmers Dalian is now estimated for May 12... we will have to adjust our travail plans in Europe, we have 10 fewer days available.
We may now fly from Brussels to Pisa, rather than take the train. Ryanair has incredibly inexpensive fares.
